We strive to ensure CNS candidates have a successful Supervised Practice Experience (SPE) by providing frequent, high-touch, collaborative supervision and programming designed to maximize self exploration and growth. An info session is required to occur between applicant and Clinician’s Incubator Program Director or designee. The purpose of the info session is to ensure a good fit between candidate and Clinician’s Incubator. Examples of “good fit” include:
Review of time zone as it relates to curriculum and scheduled sessions
Candidate niche (if one is known) to ensure good match with Clinician’s Incubator’s supervisors’ areas of interest
Exceptions:
If the applicant is within 6 months of completing coursework (not including comprehensive exams or a capstone project) for a degree program specified above; or, if 75% of nutrition coursework has been completed, early admission to the SPE Program may be granted. If the applicant is already a licensed healthcare provider, earlier admission than stated here, will be considered.
Equal Opportunity Statement:

Timelines & Deadlines:
Clinician’s Incubator allows for rolling admissions, allowing candidates to start any month of the year.
Candidate and Client Locations:
The locations of candidates, supervisors, and clients may be impacted by legal practice legislation, and as such:
If the candidate expects to see clients within the US, they will be asked to disclose which potential states so that the candidate can verify that the SPE program meets the state requirements.
If the candidate expects to be working with clients outside of the 50 states and/or Washington DC, there is a process that are required to follow to determine viability. The process outlines the research and summary that the candidate provides to Clinician’s Incubator related to country/state/territory/etc law as well as professional liability responsibility. Clinician’s Incubator then reviews all material and makes a final decision.
Appeals Process:
If Clinician’s Incubator denies admission to a candidate, the Program Director or designee invites the candidate to a video conference to discuss the rationale behind the decision.
Further, Clinician’s Incubator seeks to identify other supervision programs that may be a better fit for the candidate.
If a candidate wants to formally appeal the decision, the candidate will complete a form, which includes a personal statement. The completed form and all other information previously gathered is redacted to remove any identifying information such as name, age, ethnicity. The Program Director forms a Committee of three Clinician’s Incubator supervisors and the Program Director asks committee members to review the anonymized materials and secretly vote to accept or deny the candidate.
The decision of the Committee is final.
Continuous Improvement:
This Admissions policy will be reviewed annually to ensure that it remains fair, effective, and aligned with Clinician’s Incubator’s mission, goals and objectives.
